Here we go again! Everytime President Obama heads for a vacation, the media quickly turns it into a circus. The First Family is now again on vacation in Hawaii, where they will stay through the New Year.

This is their third vacation in Hawaii that is being splashed on the front pages of newspapers worldwide. The Honolulu Advertiser even has a special section in place as a clearing ground for all their articles on the Presidential vacation.

Kailuana Place in Kailua - the 5-bedroom oceanfront estate where then President-elect Obama spent last year’s vacation, has been placed under heavy security, with no parking and plenty of secret service.

President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia  (and the first puppy Bo) spent their summer family vacation earlier this year in Martha’s Vineyard, at the Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark, MA. That vacation was disrupted by the news of Sen. Kennedy’s passing.

This time, the President & First Lady are hoping for a low-key vacation, without too many scheduled events.

Update 1: Dec 25, 2009 - First puppy Bo Obama has apparently been left home alone at the White House in Washington DC, and is unable to enjoy the glorious weather and warm sandy beaches in Hawaii because of anti-rabies quarantine rules.
