Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Jose, Gets $7 Million Face-lift
The spanking new downtown San Jose hotel Crowne Plaza, located at 282 Almaden Blvd San Jose, CA 95113; (408) 289-9081 just got remodelled. Cost? $7 million only. Seems it is now wi-fi enabled, with 32 inch flat-screen television and a fully redesigned bar and lounge. And it’s all going to be paid for by fleecing you, the unwary touristas.
See SanJose.com review (obviously outdated), but still relevant considering it’s about nearby places and public service amneties. “The Crowne Plaza Hotel San Jose is across from the Center for the Performing Arts, the Tech Museum of Innovation, Adobe headquarters and within walking distance to the HP Pavillion (formerly San Jose Arena) and a wide variety of fine restaurants. San Jose International Airport is just 3 short miles away.”
Look, I am planning to visit it and write my own review. Can you at least hold your breath until the paint dries? I get sick when I spend too much time in freshly painted rooms. Kinda like you get seasick, or roadsick. Yes, FYI, I do feel seasick and roadsick - On public transport. Not in a car. Thank goodness. That is why I stay away from buses, and if it’s too long or inconvinient to drive, I either take a train or catch a flight. What’s that? Group travel? Yes. It does make traveling in groups inconvinient. What is convinient is that I hate to travel in groups anyway. Kinda like a lone ranger, or a lonely traveler, or something like that…Whatever. Point is, I’ll write a review for the San Jose Downtown Crowne Plaza Hotel in my own sweet time. Capiche?
