Palm Springs’ spring break just got a little bit more hot, because the Riviera Resort & Spa in Palm Springs was recently hit by two of Comic-land’s most famous teen hotties - Betty & Veronica from the Archie Comics.

The Betty & Veronica Digest #193 has the two of them enjoying a Palm Springs weekend at the Riviera Resort & Spa, one of the most historic and upscale hotels in Palm Springs.

In the digest, Betty and Veronica skip town (Riverdale) to enjoy the attractions in Palm Springs, including breathtaking scenery from the Aerial Tram, magnificent celebrity homes and the famous Indian Trails.

They check-in at the Riviera, enjoy spa treatments and poolside action. Jughead, Archie and Reggie join them for what promises to be one of the hottest Palm Springs vacations ever.

The Comic was launched at a special event at the Riviera, organized conjunction with the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, and attended by Victor Gorelick, editor-in-chief of Archie Comics, and long time writer and pop culture historian, Hal Lifson, who wrote the script for the story. Ron Dante, original lead singer of ‘The Archies’, gave a special performance.
